    LOs Age(s): Zack - 5 1/2 months, Delilah - Almost 3! (34 months)

Best part of your week? Zack has been going to bed a bit earlier, so DH and I have been getting a bit more alone time which is nice.

Worst part of your week? Delilah has been having trouble sleeping the past couple nights (waking overnight) and we can't figure out what is bugging her :(

Milestones? Zack had his first tooth pop through last Thursday!

I don't have any new pics on my phone right now, but I'll try to post some later.

  • @AshleyMatt1215 - Good luck!  And you did absolutely nothing wrong!  You are doing what is best for you and your baby to get them here safely - don't forget that!!!!  Plus soon you'll be finding out if you have a son or daughter, so that's definitely exciting! I hope that once you're holding them, all those bad feelings go by the wayside.

  • For Mommies-to-be:

How many weeks are you? 13w 5d

When is your EDD? July 10

How are you feeling? EXHAUSTED and disgusted. Warning: this is going to be a vent/rant! We were in the ER with my stepson until 2:30 this morning. He's absolutely fine (DH and I are sure it's anxiety), but his BSC mother thinks it's okay to take her child to the ER at 9:30 on a Sunday night because he doesn't want to go to school and starts complaining about stomach pains that are a 6-7 out of 10.  I really want to buy her a dictionary with the word "emergency" highlighted! DH has full legal custody and she still thinks it's okay to pull this shit and not tell him she's taking him to the ER (we found out when DH texted his son asking if he needed anything for school tomorrow). She also thinks it's okay to tell DH I have to wait in the waiting room. I'm so glad DH stood up to her and said, "She is part of this family whether you like it or not and if you keep trying to cause drama I will pull the legal custody card and have YOU escorted to the waiting room." When the nurse was verifying his insurance she said, "Who's P?" I said, "Me. He's on my insurance." This bitch turns around and says, "But you're not even is parent." Me: "I'm his stepPARENT and happen to get excellent benefits through work.  I'm sorry if that offends you; most people would be grateful." UGH! she is just unbelievable and I'm going to need stitches on my tongue from biting it so much for the good of my stepson.  She can just fuck right the fuck off.  Sorry that was so long.  Anyone who actually read that whole rant deserves a cookie!

What are you craving? Goldfish crackers

What is grossing you out? Hard boiled eggs and the smell of beer

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? My stepson is a huge Steelers fan so we bought a bib that he can give to the baby.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? 2nd tri appt on Thursday

Have you / will you found out the sex? Most likely; DH almost has me convinced.

Any names picked out? The top picks at the moment are Delilah for a girl and Liam or Leland for a boy.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? No nursery til we figure out if we're going to keep renting this house or buy a new one.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I think I've said enough lol.

    imageimage
  • @PandPMeant2B - I'm so sorry your stepson's mom is BSC.  :(  But hooray for 2nd tri!!!

I'm sorry she's such a total crazy biatch. I really feel for you. My BIL's ex-wife is a self-centered moron who thinks her dating and social lives are more important than her daughter's (and now her 2 new LOs she had in the past few years with different bfs since she apparently has no concept of BC). At least my BIL and sister have custody now (since his daughter decided she was sick of moving constantly and wanted to live with dad instead), so they don't seem to have to deal with her as much.

  • How many weeks are you? 10w1d

When is your EDD? I guess I misheard at the U/S, newest EDD is 8/3/14 per my MW

How are you feeling? I'm having more good days than bad now, and I'm so thankful! I was able to vacuum and do laundry yesterday (DH has been doing this for the last 6 weeks, poor guy. I'm so grateful for him!). I'm hoping that things keep looking up from here :) I'm getting to the point of wanting to know everything is ok in there again, though. It's so weird just sitting here and having my body do this on its own. I guess I'm more of a control freak than I thought!

What are you craving? I just wish things tasted the same as they used to. I had a french dip sandwich last night, and was SO excited about it because it was the thing that sounded good. No such luck, I had to choke it down.

What is grossing you out? A lot of things still

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I got a book, "Pregnancy Sucks" (hilarious), a pregnancy journal, and a baby name book this weekend.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I need to re-schedule my next appt. For some reason I scheduled it for 14.5 weeks, when I'm supposed to be in by 12. Not my smartest moment.

Have you / will you found out the sex? Yep!

Any names picked out? No, but we bought that huge baby name book this weekend, so we'll get that started... eventually

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It lives on Pinterest still

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? My SIL is an awesome graphic designer and she is designing and printing our pregnancy announcements with her letterpress. I'm pretty excited! They should be done by the end of the month, and then after we get those sent out to people who aren't on FB/local, then the cat will finally be out of the bag.

I just found out one of my H's coworkers (he works in a really small office) just announced his wife is pregnant and she's just a week behind me. So, they announced at 9 weeks! All I can think of is they kind of stole our thunder ;) But I'd rather wait and be safe than announce early just to join the club! And it will be pretty cool to be pregnant at the same time.

We just got legal custody a few weeks ago.  Hoping physical comes soon (pre tiral on Friday)! He is SO much better off with us and she knows it, but if she admits it (you know, and does what a good mom SHOULD do?), she thinks she will look like a bad mom and then she doesn't get to play the victim.  It's unbelievable how she talks to and about DH in front of their son.  Glad your BIL's situation seems to have improved!  I often find myself asking DH, "WTF were you thinking?!?!?"

    LOs Age(s): 3 months

Best part of your week? Seeing DH really interact with A. She's starting to smile at him a lot, and is happy being held by him. I can tell DH is loving it. :)

Worst part of your week? Waking up at 3am last night with horrible cramps, stomach pain, back pain and nausea. It was a rough night in the bathroom, and I still don't feel very good. :(

Milestones? She is really using those fingers, and she's on the verge of rolling!

  • @AshleyMatt1215 Good luck! and try your hardest to just go in calm. Honestly, I can see the difference from when I had a c/s with my girl (22 hours of labor, scared, shaking) and with my boy (all planned so I just went with the flow). You did nothing wrong and just think...you'll be holding your boy OR girl soon!
